New board members join foundation
The Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation welcomes the appointment of Dr Zoe Wainer and Mr Tass Mousaferiadis to its board.
Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation Chair Julie Ligeti welcomed the appointments.
'Dr Zoe Wainer and Mr Mousaferiadis bring a wealth of public health and board experience to their new roles and are excellent additions to the Foundation's board,' she said.
'Their combined skills and experience will provide strong support to the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation and the board as we work towards our vision of creating a Victoria free from gambling harm.'
Zoe Wainer is a public health expert and is the Head of Public Health at Bupa (ANZ).
She is also a Clinical Research Fellow at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, where she formerly held the role of Deputy Director of Medical Services. She holds an BMBS from Flinders University, a Masters of Public Health from the University of Melbourne and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She is also the current Chair of the board of Dental Health Services Victoria.
Tass Mousaferiadis has an extensive background spanning more than 30 years in health and social policy, program and strategy with the Victorian Government and the health and community sectors. He has worked across a range of public health policy and program areas with both state government and numerous NGOs.
He recently worked at beyondblue: the national depression and anxiety initiative where he led the Men’s Health, Suicide Prevention and Population Health Programs. He currently consults to health and community agencies on public health policy, strategy and development. He also serves on statutory and community boards, including the board at Eastern Health.
