Call for expressions of interest: lived experience advisory committee
The Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation is seeking expressions of interest from people who have personal experience of gambling harm to join an advisory committee.
The new committee is being established to provide the Foundation's board and management with advice about strategy, service and program delivery and research from the perspective of people with first-hand experience of gambling harm and their family and friends.
The Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation’s vision is for a Victoria free from gambling harm. We recognise that gambling harm is a whole-of-community issue that affects individuals, families, friends and others.
The Foundation uses the best available evidence, in partnership with others, to prevent and reduce gambling harm and fund professional support services for those affected by gambling harm. We focus on raising awareness about the risks associated with gambling and its ‘normalisation’, recognising the early signs of harm, and mitigating harm through a range of partnerships, community grants and programs.
The Foundation is a statutory authority of the Victorian Government governed by a board. The board is responsible to the Minister for Consumer Affairs, Gaming and Liquor Regulation.
Application process: If this opportunity interests you, please complete application form. A panel interview process will follow.
