Venue Support Program
The Responsible Gambling Codes of Conduct states gaming venues have responsibilities to identify and respond to patrons showing signs of distress which may be related to gambling. The Foundation-funded Gambler's Help Venue Support Program includes 24 Venue Support Workers throughout Victoria. -

Submission to the Senate Committee inquiry into proposed restrictions to gambling and betting promotions by online content service providers
On 12 January 2018, the Foundation made a submission to the Senate Environment and Communications Legislation Committee inquiry in relation to the Communications Legislation amendment (Online Content Services and Other Measures) Bill 2017. The Bill will establish a legislative framework for applying gambling promotions restrictions to online content and broadcasting services should negotiations to amend the industry codes fail. The restrictions are due to commence in March 2018. -
