Venue Support Program

The Venue Support Program provides training and support to Victorian gaming venues to create and maintain gambling environments that help to reduce gambling harm among customers.

The program is delivered by Venue Support Workers who play a key role in training and empowering venue staff and management to meet and exceed the requirements of industry responsible gambling codes of conduct.

The objectives of Venue Support Program are to:

  • deliver mandated Responsible Service of Gaming training to venue staff state-wide
  • build the capacity of gaming venues and staff to identify and respond to gambling related harms
  • improve awareness of the support services available for people experiencing gambling-related harm
  • encourage gambling practices and environments to reduce gambling harm.
