We aim to expand and share knowledge of gambling harm among health, government, research and industry professionals through the delivery of training and events. Throughout the year we offer targeted workforce events, online training, workshops and presentations on the latest research.

Continuing professional development (CPD)

Continuing professional development (CPD) points are calculated as follows:

  • Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW): 1 point per hour.
  • Australian Psychological Society (APS): the responsibility is on the individual psychologist to determine whether the CPD is suitable and relevant to their learning plan, and their ability to justify this decision if audited. Visit the PsyBA website for more information.
  • Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA): 2 points per hour (for Category A events), 1 point per hour (for Category B events). Visit the PACFA website for category guidelines.
  • Financial and Consumer Rights Council (FCRC): points will be identified on each scheduled event.
