Victorians lose $1.565 billion on pokies in 2020-21
On 23 July 2021, the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation released figures on pokies expenditure for the 2020-21 financial year.
In total, $1.565 billion was lost in Victoria at the pokies between 9 November 2020, when pokies venues re-opened, and 30 June 2021.
Expenditure figures are available for each local government area, as well as for each of the 488 clubs and hotels operating pokies.
