Development and evaluation of an online gambling self-directed program: effective integration into existing services
Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation — March 2018
This research aimed to develop and evaluate a high quality online, self-directed program for gambling. The goal was to produce an online cognitive-behavioural program emulating the intensity and depth of a face-to-face cognitive-behavioural intervention from which more brief and targeted interventions could be developed.

Submission to the Senate Committee inquiry into proposed restrictions to gambling and betting promotions by online content service providers

On 12 January 2018, the Foundation made a submission to the Senate Environment and Communications Legislation Committee inquiry in relation to the Communications Legislation amendment (Online Content Services and Other Measures) Bill 2017. The Bill will establish a legislative framework for applying gambling promotions restrictions to online content and broadcasting services should negotiations to amend the industry codes fail. The restrictions are due to commence in March 2018.

Submission to ASTRA's consultation on provisions relating to the broadcast of gambling and betting commercials in its code of practice

On 22 December 2017, the Foundation made a submission to the Australian Subscription Television and Radio Association (ASTRA) on the provisions relating to the broadcast of gambling commercials. The provisions are intended to meet the federal government requirement to restrict gambling advertising during live sport. The restrictions are due to commence in March 2018.

Psychological treatments for problem gambling (PROGRESS) study final report
