Post-2022 gaming machine entitlements allocated

The Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation has updated its Entitlements Register to show hotel and club venue operators allocated entitlements to operate gaming machines from August 2022.

Each entitlement will allow the recipient to operate a gaming machine in a venue approved by the commission as premises suitable for gaming. In some cases the required approval already exists and the new entitlements will simply allow ongoing operations. In other cases, the venue operator will need to apply to the commission for an increase in the number of machines allowed at an existing venue or to have new premises approved as suitable for gaming.

A total of 27,310 entitlements have been allocated, with 14,099 entitlements to hotels and 13,211 to clubs. Sixty-two club entitlements have not been allocated.

Details of all allocated entitlements are available in the Entitlements Register on the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation website.
